and invite you to the 2022 Brazil 021 Jiu Jitsu Surf Camp in Playa Venao, Panama.
Playa Venao is a remote surf town on the Pacific Coast of Panama famous for some of the best surfing in Central America. Click on the links and info tab above for details of the village. The sandy beach break is perfect for beginners to advanced surfers. Playa Venao also has a new Jiu Jitsu facility at the Beach Break Surf Camp that will host us.
This is the perfect trip to share with your significant other or family. Its an 021 event, so the Jiu Jitsu will be outstanding. More importantly, this camp brings the added benefit of being able to share with someone special. That person in your life who does not understand the allure of grappling-perfect. Hammocks and beach are plentiful. Surf camp will teach them how to surf. Yoga, sound healing, Muay Thai, breathwork, body work, hiking, salsa dancing, EDM music at the El Sitio Club and more are all available. Little kids-perfect. We can arrange a guide who will take your kids on an excursion searching for sand dollars, baby turtles and monkeys or just safely babysit them while you train. Older kids-perfect. We can arrange surf lessons, horseback riding, waterfall hiking or to join professor John for 2 hours of fun workouts and bjj everyday. This trip is full of opportunities and your spouse and child may enjoy the trip more than you do.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the martial art historically connected with surfing. This trip will build your connection to your Jiu Jitsu game in many ways.

This camp will include:
- round trip transportation to and from Panama City/ Tocumen International Airport
- 5 or 7 nights of accommodations at Beach Break Surf Camp
- while at Beach Break, enjoying a Full Surf Camp Package including:
- up to 2 hours of daily surf lessons including in-water, theory, and video analysis, our team is stoked and ready to get you and the whole family surfing!
- unlimited board rentals to practice whenever you'd like
- photo and video package of your surfing to take home with you
- daily breakfast from our open and delicious menu
- your BJJ hosts, Professor Andre and Professor Hannette will be leading training 2x per day
- all kids and adults students welcome to join Prof John's local classes
- organized day trips to secret beaches and waterfall hike
- beach BBQ and bonfire party on the last night

COVID PRECAUTIONS
Panama currently requires proof of full vaccination for admission into the country. To ensure a negative test, you should avoid any social contact for at least 7 days prior to departure. Upon arrival in Panama, we ask that you travel directly to Playa Venao without contact in any social environments. This will create a “bubble” of Covid negative participants at the Camp. Playa Venao is remote and has been able to navigate the Covid crisis without problems since the country lifted its internal restrictions. Dining is outdoors.
